Retail customers are individual consumers who purchase products or services for personal use.
With Dizlog new feature, you may now create a pricelist for your retail customers, you may offer decreased in product price for limited hours.
Best example where you may offer specific price is "Happy hour" typically refers to a designated time during which bars, restaurants, or other establishments offer discounts on drinks and sometimes appetizers or food items. These promotions are often aimed at attracting customers during slower hours and encouraging socializing and increased patronage.
Ensure you have the following prior creating price list
Products in your inventory/catalog
The customer added/saved on the account
Choose which App you are using:
Click Inventory/Catalog dropdown list and click Price List
Click +Add new price list at the top part of the page
Enter a Name for your pricelist ( Example. Happy Hour Pricelist )
Choose from Overall Adjustment from Price Increase or Price Decrease
Enter the Percentage % amount of adjustment
In this pricelist, Price Decrease is selected for the Happy Hour Pricelist
Click on Manage to add products that will be added to the pricelist.
Click on + Add Products and choose the products to add.
Once added, you may edit the price for each product by editing the price in the price field
You may also retain the prices as it is and just configure the Overall Adjustment percentage amount.
Add Customers to the pricelist, the selected customers will be the ones that can avail the price from the pricelist created.
Review details and click on Save Changes
In this example, we have 21 products and an overall adjustment of 50% price decrease under Happy Hour Pricelist.
The Pricelist has been saved to list of Pricelist.
The status of the pricelist is ACTIVE, you may inactive or delete the pricelist when you want to just click on pencil icon 🖊 to edit or trash icon 🗑️ to delete.
What is Volume Pricing?
Volume pricing, also known as quantity-based pricing or tiered pricing, is a pricing strategy where the unit price of a product or service decreases as the quantity purchased increases. This approach is commonly used to incentivize customers to buy in larger quantities
How to Create Volume based pricing
Click "+Add new Pricelist"
Enter a name for the new pricelist
Select Products to manage pricing by clicking "Manage"
Click "Add Products"
Select Products by ticking the tick boxes where Volume pricing will be applied
Click "Add Items"
Select "Volume" from the dropdown type
Now start creating "Volume breakdown"
💡Note: pricing is typically represented as a series of price tiers or brackets, each corresponding to a specific quantity range. For example:
1-10 ordered quantity: $10 per unit
11-50 ordered quantity: $9 per unit
51-100 ordered quantity: $8 per unit
101+ ordered quantity: $7 per unit
You may have as many volume breakdown you want
Click "Save" once done
Add Customer
Click "Save Changes" once done
You are now able to create a volume based pricing and now ready to use in POS Catalog
You may also add Pricelist to the customer profile directly here's how:
Click Customers dropdown and Click Customer's list.
Click the ✎ pencil icon across customer's name
Click Add Price list and select which price list for the customer
Go to POS
Open Catalog
First Select the products and add to cart.
Select the Customer name to avail the price from the pricelist created.

The price from the pricelist is now showing in the catalog as long as the customer in the pricelist is selected.
Open Catalog and add to cart the items that has been added to the "Volume based Pricing"
Select "Price List" from 3 lines button
Select Price List as "Volume based Pricing"
Click "Select"
Make sure to also select customer that is eligible to use the price list for volume
You may now see "Price List" has been applied to the cart
Go to Inventory / Catalog > More > Price List
Tap + New Price List at the top part of the page
Enter a Name for your pricelist
Start adding product by clicking + Add Product Select adding products
By Products
By Category
By SupplierOnce added you can manually adjust the product price by clicking on products qty and then adjusting the price field and entering the new price value
If you just want to have all products added to have a certain percentage increase or decrease in price, just at the value percentage on the adjustment amount field
Next add a customer whom this prices will be applied to during checkouts. to do so click on "manage customer"
Check the status- choose either its active or inactive
Also review the location on where it will be applied to
And same goes on updating the currency
Tap Save to apply changes
How to Sell to Retail Customers with Created Pricelist.
Go to POS
Open Catalog
First Select the products and add to cart.
Select the Customer name to avail the price from the pricelist created.

The price from the pricelist is now showing in the catalog as long as the customer in the pricelist is selected.
