Connect your barcode scanner to your Android/Tablet
If your Android smartphone or tablet supports a USB on-the-go or OTG, you can use a USB barcode scanner with the DizLog POS app.
To use a USB scanner with DizLog POS on an Android device, you will need a USB OTG adapter or cable. It has a female USB connector on one end and a male micro USB connector on the other.
First, plug the USB barcode scanner to the female USB connector of an OTG adapter or a cable.
Then plug the micro-USB end of the OTG adapter or cable into the micro-USB port of your mobile device and wait for the system to recognize the scanner.
Now you can add barcodes to your items and sell items with a barcode scanner.
Connect your barcode scanner to your PC
Check Compatibility: Ensure your USB barcode scanner is compatible with your PC's operating system.
Power On: Turn on the barcode scanner (if it has a power button).
Connect the Scanner: Plug the USB cable from the barcode scanner into an available USB port on your PC.
Automatic Recognition: The PC should automatically recognize the scanner and install the necessary drivers.
Test the Scanner: Open a text editor or any application, scan a barcode, and verify that the scanned data appears on the screen.
