How to Select Order Types in Dizlog POS

Merchants can assign the correct Order Type when creating orders in Dizlog POS. This ensures accurate tracking of dine-in, takeaway, delivery, and pick-up transactions.

Available Order Types

  • Dine-In → Customers eat inside the store (with optional table assignment).

  • Takeaway → Customer orders and carries the items out.

  • Delivery → Orders are delivered to the customer’s address.

  • Pick Up → Customers place the order in advance and collect it from the store.

Steps to Select Order Type

Step 1: Start a New Order

  • Log in using your PIN.

  • From the Product Catalog, select the items to add to the cart.

Step 2: Choose the Order Type

  • On the right side panel, click the Order Type dropdown.

  • Select Dine-In, Takeaway, Delivery, or Pick Up.

Step 3: Enter Details (if required)

  • Delivery → Enter customer name, contact number, and delivery address.

  • Pick Up → Enter customer name and pickup date/time.

  • Dine-In → Assign a table (if table management is enabled).

Step 4: Checkout

  • Click Charge to proceed with payment.

  • Choose payment method: Cash, Card, E-wallet, or Invoice.

Step 5: Receipt Review

  • After checkout, the receipt will clearly display the Order Type.

📌 Note for Merchants:

  • Always select the correct order type to ensure proper reporting.

  • Order type appears on receipts and in the Sales/Order reports.

  • Delivery and Pick Up require customer details for tracking.
