1. Overview
The Accounts Payable Detail report shows every unpaid or partly-paid supplier bill, grouped by how long it has been outstanding.
It lets you:
See, line by line, which invoices you owe, to whom, and from which location.
Check invoice and due dates, age in days, original amount, and Open Balance (remaining unpaid amount).
Drill down to the original Supplier Invoice or Bill Payment screen by clicking the invoice number.
The report uses the Account Payable Aging Detail report type in the backend, so it always reflects your latest payables data recorded in DizLog.
2. Key Features
a. Filters at the top
Locations – choose one or many business locations using a multi-select control.
Suppliers – drop-down list to show All suppliers or a single supplier.
As of date – a single date picker labelled “As of” to control the aging cut-off date.
b. Aging categories
Rows are grouped into sections such as:
Current
1–30 days past due
31–60 days past due
61–90 days past due
Over 90 days past due
For each category, the report shows all related invoices and then a “Total for … past due” line.
c. Detailed columns
For each payable, you see:
Supplier
Location
Number (invoice or document number)
Type (e.g. PO invoice vs. bill payment type)
Invoice Date
Due Date
Age (days past due)
Amount
Open Balance
d. Export, print and share
On the right-hand side above the report you can:
Download CSV – exports the report using the “Category, Supplier, Location, Number, Type, Invoice Date, Due Date, Age, Amount, Open Balance” headers.
Download PDF – generates a PDF version of the same data.
Print – uses the browser’s print dialog to print the report layout.
Share – opens sharing options (email, WhatsApp, Facebook) with a link to the current report.
e. Connections with other modules
The Accounts Payable Detail report is linked to several other DizLog modules:
Accounts Payable Summary
From the Summary report, clicking a vendor name opens Accounts Payable Detail pre-filtered for that vendor and date.
Bill Payments (Financials > Accounts Payable > Bill)
When a payable row is not a PO invoice, clicking the Number link opens the Bill Payments page for that bill ID.
Inventory > Supplier Invoice
When the payable type is po_invoice, clicking the Number link opens the matching Supplier Invoice in the Inventory module.
These links mean you can move from the aging detail directly to the original source document for review or further action.
3. Getting Started
Step 1 – Open the module
Log in to DizLog Web Portal.
In the left menu, go to Financials.
Expand Accounts Payable.
Click Accounts Payable Detail.
The system loads the detail report using your default locations and today’s date.
Step 2 – Understand the default filters
By default, all available locations are populated if none are selected.
The As of date starts from the current date; it can be changed at any time.
4. How to Use
A. Filter the report
Filter by location(s)
At the top left, click in the Locations selector.
Check or uncheck one or more locations.
The report refreshes and now shows payables only for those locations.
Filter by supplier
Open the Suppliers drop-down.
Choose All to see every supplier, or pick a specific supplier.
The report updates to show only payables for that supplier.
Tip: If you arrived here by clicking a vendor in Accounts Payable Summary, the supplier filter and As of date are set from that selection automatically.
Change the As of date
Next to the As of label, click the date field.
Pick the new date.
The aging buckets and totals recalculate based on that date.
B. Read the aging buckets
For each aging section:
Click the section header (for example “1–30 days past due”) if it is collapsed; it uses an accordion that can expand or collapse.
Inside, each row shows: supplier, location, invoice/bill number, type, invoice date, due date, age, amount, and open balance.
At the end of the section is a “Total for … past due” line that sums the amounts in that bucket.
Use this to quickly see how much you owe in each time band.
C. Drill down to the original document
To see the full details of a payable:
Locate the row you are interested in.
Click the Number field (it is shown as a blue link).
Depending on the payable type:
If Type is po_invoice, you are taken to the Supplier Invoice page under Inventory.
Otherwise, you are taken to the Bill Payments page for that bill.
From there, you can review all line items, taxes, and payment history for that document (based on what those modules support).
D. Export, print, or share the report
Download as CSV or PDF
In the top-right of the screen, click the CSV or PDF download buttons.
The file created uses the same columns as the on-screen report: category, supplier, location, number, type, invoice date, due date, age, amount, and open balance.
Print the report
Click the Print icon.
Use your browser’s print options to choose printer, pages, and layout.
Share a link
Click the Share button.
Choose your preferred channel (email, WhatsApp, Facebook).
A message is prepared with a link to the current report view.
5. Troubleshooting
1. The report is empty or says there is no data.
Check that you have at least one location selected. The system only fills locations automatically when the list is initially empty.
Confirm the As of date is not before you started entering supplier invoices and bills.
Try switching Suppliers to All to make sure you are not filtering out everything.
2. A supplier or location I expect is missing.
Make sure the supplier exists in the Suppliers list used by the report.
Check the connected modules (Supplier Invoice and Bill Payments) to confirm those documents are recorded under the expected supplier and location.
3. The “Age” looks wrong.
The age is calculated from the Due Date to today’s date (or the relevant date used in the calculation).
Verify the Due Date in the underlying invoice or bill; if that date is wrong, the age in the report will also look incorrect.
4. Clicking a Number link does nothing.
Ensure the row actually has a valid type and ID; links are generated based on the payable type (po_invoice or other).
If you recently changed or deleted the related bill or supplier invoice, re-open the Accounts Payable Detail report to refresh the data.
5. I can’t open Accounts Payable Detail from Accounts Payable Summary.
In the Accounts Payable Summary report, click directly on the vendor name (not on totals). This is the clickable element that opens the detail page with the vendor and date pre-filled.
By following this guide, you can use Accounts Payable Detail to clearly see which supplier invoices are outstanding, how long they have been due, and quickly jump into the original documents in Bill Payments or Supplier Invoice when you need more context.
