How to Set-up POS (Point-of-Sale) in POS Settings?

Before you start selling your items, ensure sure your POS is configured correctly for your business.

DizLog allows you to configure your POS:

  • Include service charges and taxes in the checkout total automatically.

  • Configure different payment methods

  • Personalize your receipts

  • Generate Service QR code

  • Add cash registers in Register Settings

  • Pre-Defined Tickets

👣 Steps:

Choose the " ⚙️POS settings" option from the left pane under POS.

Features

  1. Customer Information

    • Customer's name is optional during checkout.

    • Allow POS checkout without providing a customer name.

    • Use billing address for shipping.

    • Use billing address as the shipping address by default.

  2. Payments

    • Allow Partial Payment: Customers can spread the cost of a purchase over time. (Learn more)

  3. Security

    • Required PIN in POS: Require a PIN to be entered before accessing the POS system. (Learn more)

    • Require PIN to remove items from POS open order: Require a PIN before removing items from an open order.

  4. User Authentication

    • Enable Selfie on Clock In/Out: Require a selfie to be taken before clocking in or out.

    • Use Selfie Verification: Validate user identity with a selfie.

  5. Pricing Adjustments

    • Allow Manual Discount: Apply manual discounts at checkout. (Learn more)

  6. Inventory Management

    • Allow Negative Stock: Sell products with negative stock or no stock on hand. (Learn more)

    • Enable Service Charge: Set a service charge for each location.

  12. Reporting

    • Send Shift Report Daily: Automatically send a shift report to your email.

Payment Methods

Here you may enable payment methods as default, DizLog already has a default payment methods such as:

  • CASH

  • INVOICE PAYMENTS

  • PAY LATER

  • ONLINE PAYMENTS

If you are planning to add custom payment method you may activate by selecting the gateway for your payment method then click on Activate

Receipt Settings

Customize your receipt by enabling which details to show and also rearrange on how details will be shown

  • Display Settings - toggle/untoggled to position or show/hide each details to the receipt

  • Business Information - tick boxes which should be shown/hidden from receipt

  • Tax PIN (Enter your Tax ID here)

  • Receipt Message

  • Disclaimer

  • Receipt Width ( Size of Receipt in Inches )
