Customers can make partial payments towards a purchase, rather than paying the full amount upfront. It allows your customers to spread the cost of a purchase over time which can make it more manageable for them

How to Enable Partial Payment in POS
Log in to using your DizLog account: Click Dizlog Log in
On the left panel, proceed to ⚙️ Settings and select POS Settings
Toggle on Allow Partial Payments and hit on Save
⚠️ Partial payments are only available for items in the Goods Inventory
How to Process Partial Payment on checkout
❗ Ensure that you have completed the steps above regarding enabling partial payment before you can have partial payment option on checkout
Proceed to POS then 🏪 Catalog
Choose an item to cart and click on Offline Payments
Choose between Cash, E-Wallet, Credit Card, Pay Later, Invoice Input the Partial Amount that you and your customer have agreed upon and update the Cash Received accordingly
Click on Process
Then proceed Checkout
You will then be directed to the receipt page

How to Enable Partial Payment in POS
Open the DizLog app and log in to your account.
Tap "Point of Sale" on the home screen and select the register you want to use.
Enter the PIN to access the POS. If you're not sure how to retrieve your PIN, refer to this article: https://helpcenter.dizlog.com/en/articles/7018149-how-to-retrieve-pin-to-log-into-pos
Tap "More" on the POS screen and select "POS Settings."
Toggle the "Allow Partial Payments" option to the right to enable partial payments from customers and ensure to hit "Save" button to keep your changes.

How to Process Partial Payment on checkout
❗ Ensure that you have completed the steps above regarding enabling partial payment before you can have partial payment option on checkout
Go to POS
Choose the item you want to sell and proceed to the cart icon to check out.
On the checkout page, select "Cash" as the payment type
Enter the agreed-upon partial amount and the cash received from the customer.
Review the receipt preview to view the outstanding balance.
💡 When the customer is ready to pay the full amount, go to "My Orders" and select "Partially Paid." You can search for the item using the Order ID number. Once the customer pays the remaining balance, select the order and click "Set to Paid" to mark it as fully paid.
You have now successfully enabled Partial Payments. It can be a valuable option to consider when setting up your payment options.
The Partial Payment feature provides a convenient and flexible option for customers to make payments towards a purchase in installments
