What is bulk upload?
The bulk upload facility allows users to upload inventory data per inventory type in batches. If you are maintaining an inventory list locally in your devices, you can copy them to the specified file format and details then upload the file through the app in seconds.
Here are the details you need for bulk template:
Inventory Type * - Choose Products
Category Name * - enter the name of the Stock/Catalog Category
Supplier (+) - optional
Catalog Visibility* - enter Y for yes N for no
Auto Generate SKU - enter Y if your own barcode is not available, and enter N if the product has a unique barcode
Item Code - if the "Auto Generate SKU" is N enter the product barcode here
Item Name - Enter the name of the product
Item Description - optional
UOM* - unit of measure (e.g. Per Item)
Cost Currency - Enter the currency of the product being purchased from supplier
Cost Price - Enter each cost price of the product
Sell Currency - Enter the currency of the product being sell
Sell Price- Enter each sell price of the product
Returnable Item* - enter Y for yes N for no
Stock in hand - optional
Initial Stock * - Enter the initial stock of the product if available can be 0
Stock Received - optional
Stock Returned - optional
Damaged - optional
Lost - optional
Reorder At - optional
Date Received - optional
Expiry Date - optional
Height - optional
Weight - optional
Width - optional
Length - optional
Non - Inventory * - Y if using not using stock in inventory, N if stock is being used
Online Store Visibility * - Y if item should show in Online Store, No if not to show in Online Store
Variants - if available
Variants Option - if available
To add a bulk Ingredients:
Click Inventory / Catalog dropdown list and click Product/Services from the left pane menu.
Click Import
Choose “Ingredients ” or "Raw Materials" inventory type
Then Click "Download Bulk Template" to download the excel bulk template
Open the file from your device downloads to fill-out the details according to the data format.
Ensure that all of the product details are filled to the appropriate category.
Follow the rules provided in the template to make sure products will be uploaded without error
As soon as the template is ready, upload it back by clicking on Browse File and click Upload File button.
Prior clicking "Upload" if you have multiple locations, please select the location to first to make sure products will be uploaded in the correct location
Click "Next"
The results will show you if the bulk upload was successful.
