How to Set Up Tax Settings in Dizlog

Configuring tax settings ensures accurate calculations for sales and purchases. Follow these steps to set up a new tax in Dizlog.

1. Go to Settings

From the main menu, navigate to Settings.

2. Click Taxes

In the Settings menu, select the Taxes option.

3. Add a New Tax

Click Add New Tax to create a new tax entry.

4. Enter Tax Details

  • Tax Name – Provide a name for the tax (e.g., VAT, Sales Tax).

  • Apply To – Choose whether the tax applies to Sales or Purchases.

  • Account – (Optional) Select an account if you want to link the tax.

  • Tax Rate – Enter the tax percentage (e.g., 12%).

5. Select Tax Type

Choose whether the tax should be:

  • Included – Already part of the item price.

  • Added – Added on top of the item price.

6. Choose Application Options

From the Options dropdown, select one of the following:

  • Apply to existing items

  • Apply to new items

  • Apply to all items

7. Set Location

Under Location, select where the tax should be applied.

8. Save or Cancel

  • Click Save to apply the new tax.

  • Click Cancel or the X button in the upper right if you don’t want to proceed.

✅ You’ve successfully set up tax settings in Dizlog. The new tax will now apply based on your configuration.
