How to Add a New Tax in DizLog

In DizLog, you can easily create and configure tax settings to match your business needs. Follow the steps below to add a new tax.

Step 1: Go to Settings

  • From the left side panel, select Settings.

Step 2: Open Tax Settings

  • Click on Taxes to view all existing tax configurations.

Step 3: Add a New Tax

  • Click Add New Tax to create a new tax rule.

Step 4: Fill Out the Tax Details

Enter the required information for the new tax setup:

  • Tax Name – Specify the name of the tax.

  • Application Type – Choose whether it applies to Sales or Purchases.

  • Account Mapping – Select which account (from your chart of accounts) to map the tax to.

  • Tax Rate – Enter the tax rate percentage.

  • Tax Type – Choose Inclusive or Exclusive.

  • Application Option – Decide whether to apply it to existing items or new items only.

  • Branch – Select which branch this tax will apply to.

  • Click Save to finalize the setup.

Step 5: Review Tax Settings

  • Return to the Taxes section to confirm that your new tax has been successfully added.
