Step 1: Go to Settings
From the left side panel, select Settings.
Step 2: Open Tax Settings
Click on Taxes to view all existing tax configurations.
Step 3: Add a New Tax
Click Add New Tax to create a new tax rule.
Step 4: Fill Out the Tax Details
Enter the required information for the new tax setup:
Tax Name – Specify the name of the tax.
Application Type – Choose whether it applies to Sales or Purchases.
Account Mapping – Select which account (from your chart of accounts) to map the tax to.
Tax Rate – Enter the tax rate percentage.
Tax Type – Choose Inclusive or Exclusive.
Application Option – Decide whether to apply it to existing items or new items only.
Branch – Select which branch this tax will apply to.
Click Save to finalize the setup.
Step 5: Review Tax Settings
Return to the Taxes section to confirm that your new tax has been successfully added.
