Online stores are the lifeblood of eCommerce. The success of an online store depends on numerous factors, but one of the most critical is managing orders that came from the site. Whether your store is used for selling products or services, it's important that you understand how to manage orders.
To Manage Orders:
💻 From DizLog Web App
From POS dropdown, select Catalog
At the top menu, choose "My Orders"
You can filter the date range from this options
Select from the status tab to see the orders needed to be processed.
Pending - This is where new orders, primarily from your POS, are stored.
Approved - This is where your initial orders from online stores are.
Preparing - This section contains orders that have been updated and are currently being processed.
Ready For Pick-up - Here you can view orders that you have previously finished and are waiting for the customer to pick them up.
Ready For Delivery - This is the location of orders that are awaiting delivery.
On its Way - This is where you can review orders that have been picked up by delivery team.
To update the status of each orders, click on the arrow icon next to the order you needed to process.
It will open the details of the order and you can select the next status. (note status will be based on the status it is currently on)
Once you have clicked the appropriate status, click on "Save" button on the lower right part of the page.
💡 The order details will be moved to the tab of the updated selected status.
📱 From DizLog Mobile App
From Point of Sales tool, tap on the My Orders tab.
My Orders is divided into two parts:
Orders – shows all orders that are not yet completed
Order History – shows all completed and cancelled orders
To filter orders made from Online tap Location, Category and Sales Channel to filter.
Select Online under Sales Channel.
The count of orders and order details are shown per status.
Pay later
Pending
Partially Paid
Paid
Approved
Preparing
Ready for Delivery
On it's Way
Return Requested ( If a customer requested for an item/goods return)
Picked up
Delivered
Done
Cancelled
Void
To update the status of each orders, click on the arrow icon next to the order you needed to process.
It will open the details of the order and you can select the next status. (note status will be based on the status it is currently on)
Just tap the appropriate status and this will automatically update the status.
a. Set to Approved
b. Cancel Order
💡 The order details will be moved to the tab of the updated selected status.
