How to Add items to Cart and Check out in POS Catalog?

The cashier or sales associate selects the items that the customer wishes to purchase and adds them to the transaction in the POS system.

The quantity of each item is entered into the system, The system calculates the price of each item based on the quantity entered and any applicable discounts or promotions.

How to Add Items to Cart and Check out in POS Catalog?

  1. Go to POS and click "Catalog"

  2. Select an item you would like to add to cart.

  3. Upon adding to Cart the total breakdown of different charges will show in this page up prior checking out.

  4. In Checkout page you must Select what Payment Method will customer use.

  5. Click "Offline Payments" to select from Cash, E-Wallet, Credit Card, Pay Later, Invoice and Split Payments

  6. In checkout we have an option to select existing customer, walk in customer, or even add new customer, to do this go to Customer selection above and click the dropdown.

  7. Now Enter the Cash amount and Click Checkout.

    Note: For existing Customer email field will auto populate once customer is selected.

  8. Once has been processed you will be routed to Receipt Review.

  9. To Print the Receipt just select Print in the end of page.

How to Add Items to Cart and Check out in POS Catalog?

  1. From Homepage Go to POS, Select Location and Open Register.

  2. Filter the Category for Goods or F&B Services, select an item you would like to add to cart.

  3. Upon adding to Cart the total breakdown of different charges will show in this page up prior checking out.

  4. Depending on how customer would like to do the Payment, Dizlog POS offers several Payment Method.

    a. Cash

    b. Digital ( ex. Mpesa, iPay, Credit Card )

    c. Pay Later

  5. Now prior checking out We must Select our Customer, We have Walk ins, Existing Customer and we can also add new Customer in the lists by providing necessary information.

    New Customer:

  6. Once Customer has been selected click Checkout.

  7. You can now print the receipt by clicking Print.

By following these steps, a POS system can efficiently manage transactions and help businesses streamline their operations.
