How to Split Payment in POS

Split payment is a feature in point-of-sale (POS) systems that allows customers to divide their total bill into multiple payment methods

DizLog Split payment feature allows customers to divide their total bill into multiple payment methods. This could include a combination of cash, credit/debit cards, gift cards, and even mobile payment options. The flexibility of split payments enhances customer satisfaction by offering them the convenience to pay using their preferred methods.



Setting Up Split Payment in Your POS System

  1. After adding items to cart, click "Checkout"

  2. Click "Split Payment"

  3. Click ‘+’ or ‘-’ buttons to set up the number of partial payments.

  4. By default, the entire amount will be split evenly.

  5. Select the payment type for each payment.

  6. Depending on the payment methods setup for you POS either you have a custom payment method it should be included from the list customer can use upon paying.

  7. If customer decided custom amount for each payments simply enter each amount from the editable amount field

  8. Once done click "Charge" for the first payment method

  9. Once done clicking charge for both payment methods

  10. Click "Process Transaction"

    That's it! the Receipt Review will show the complete transaction including what split payment methods were used during the sale.
