DizLog's add-ons feature in Point of Sale (POS) systems is an essential tool for food and beverage businesses looking to enhance their customer experience and maximize sales. This feature allows customers to customize their orders by adding extra ingredients, sides, toppings, or beverages, providing a tailored dining experience

Practical Use Cases

  1. Fast Food Restaurants:

    • Customers can add extra cheese, bacon, or guacamole to their burgers.

    • Offer a variety of sides like fries, onion rings, or salads with meals.

  2. Pizzerias:

    • Allow customers to customize their pizzas with a variety of toppings like pepperoni, mushrooms, olives, or extra cheese.

    • Offer dipping sauces or sides like garlic bread or wings.

  3. Coffee Shops:

    • Provide options for add-ons like extra shots of espresso, flavored syrups, or whipped cream.

    • Offer pastries, sandwiches, or snacks as add-ons with beverages.

  4. Casual Dining:

    • Enable customization of dishes with additional ingredients or sides.

    • Offer upgrades like premium sides or desserts to complement main courses.

  5. Bars and Nightclubs:

    • Offer mixer options, additional garnishes, or premium spirits as add-ons for cocktails.

    • Provide snack options or small plates to complement drinks.

Choose which feature you are using:

  1. Click Product/ Services dropdown list then click Items List

  2. Click + Add items.

  3. Enter information in required fields from General tab.

  4. Enter information in required fields from Sales information tab.

  5. Click on Add variant to proceed to the variant tab.

  6. Enter information in the required fields from Variants tab.

  7. Enter information on Add Ons tab such as :

    Note : You may add options as many as you want.
    You may also add add ons group as many as you want.


    You have two options in adding Add Ons to your product which are below

    A. Existing : All of Saved Add Ons will be available to add to your new product just click on Existing and it will show you the active Add Ons, just select by ticking the box and cick Save

    B. Create A New Add Ons

    1. Group name : Header or Identification business would like to name the said add-ons

    2. Minimum Choices: Total minimum number of options a customer needed to select when processing order. ( This is Optional and can be leave as blank )

    3. Maximum Choices: Total maximum number of options a customer needed to select when processing order. ( This is Optional and can be leave as blank )

    4. Toggle Allow Quantity Selector to enable quantity option in POS Catalog

    5. Click " Add Options " : The name and the amount per add-ons

    6. Click Done to save.

  8. Start Creating New Add Ons

    💡 If you are managing multiple locations/store you may add the add ons at the same time you creating add ons to your 1st location/store. Simply click on the 2nd location/branch to add the add ons to the location.


  9. Once add ons group has been added, click on Save.

    If you want to add more Add Ons Options to your product simply click on +Create Add Ons

  1. From POS select the item/product and select variant.

    Variant : it is required field, you need to select 1 variant.

  2. Select Add Ons, you may select 1 add ons per add ons group.

  3. The Quantity Selector below is for the Add Ons Quantity

  4. Click Add to Cart

  5. Click Checkout

Receipt Review


  1. From the Homepage of the Dizlog APP, tap " Inventory / Catalog ".

  2. Search for the item/product you want to have Add Ons, and tap " Edit ".

  3. Tap " Product Add-Ons ".

  4. Tap " + " sign at the upper right corner

  5. Enter Group name : Header or Identification business would like to name the said add-ons

  6. Minimum Choices: Total minimum number of options a customer needed to select when processing order. ( This is Optional and can be leave as blank )

  7. Maximum Choices: Total maximum number of options a customer needed to select when processing order. ( This is Optional and can be leave as blank )

  8. Tap " Add Options " : The name and the amount per add-ons

    Example: For a milk tea business add ons can be entered this way
    Group Name: Shinkers
    Minimum Choices: 1 ( optional )
    Maximum Choices: 3 ( optional )
    Name 1: Pearl / Amount: 5
    Name 2: Nata / Amount: 5

  9. Tap " 💾 save button at the upper right part of screen.

  10. You may add more option by tapping " + " sign at the upper right corner.

    How to Process order with add ons;

  11. From the Homepage of the Dizlog APP, tap " POS ".

  12. Select the Product

  13. Add on option or fields will pop up

    Note: only products with added Add-ons will have this option.

  14. Select the appropriate add-ons

    Note; Order will not proceed or an error will show up if the selection of add-ons does not correspond to the set minimum/maximum choices set-up when creating the add-ons.

    ** Receipt will show the breakdown of each add on and how much each add ons costs.
