DizLog Kitchen Display System (KDS) is a digital solution used in restaurants, cafes, and other food service establishments to streamline and improve kitchen operations. It replaces traditional paper-based order tickets and provides a more efficient way for the kitchen staff to manage and process orders.
DizLog KDS is the kitchen display system app that runs on iPad or Android tablets and shows the orders made from the DizLog POS.
To configure Kitchen Display System you must create your Category on your Inventory:

How to Add Kitchen Display
( This is how you can configure KDS)
Go to POS and Click on Kitchen Display
Click + Add New Screen button at the upper right part
Select a business location
Enter a Kitchen Display Screen Name
Select from the created category or create a new category by clicking on Add a Category
Add the IP address
This is the IP address of the device where you will use the KDS

Adjust the Alert time and Late time
Alert time - this is to notify Kitchen staff that the order needs to be prepared or completed soon. Like if they have estimated time to complete an order. This will turn the order box to Yellow.
Late time - this is to notify kicthen staff that the order is already pending for too long based on the set minutes you entered. The order box will turn to Red once it exceeded the noted time.
Tick and untick is Enabled to change the Status of the KDS
Click Save
How to Use Kitchen Display System
The device you are using to view KDS should be configured on the KDS settings. see above
💡The device should login to the same merchant account where you configured the KDS
Go to POS and Click on Kitchen Display
Select from the available KDS and click the 🖥️ monitor icon
a. From the Open tab
i. You can tick the tick box from the item list to know its done without completing the entire item yet
ii. If you need to put the order on hold > click the hold button then when ready to continue with the order go to Hold tab and click on Open. The order will return to Open tab
iii. if order is completed, tick the tickbox the done button
b. From the Done tab
i. You can Re-open a completed order by clicking Re-open button
c. From the Hold tab
i. You can either complete the order by clicking Done button or put it back as open by clicking Open button
💡 How to get IP address
For Android Devices:
Open Android Settings > Connections.
Tap Wi-Fi, then select Settings (the gear icon) for the Wi-Fi network you’re connected to.
Tap View more and scroll to your IP address, where you’ll see your IPv4 and/or IPv6.
From IOS Devices:
Open iPhone Settings and tap Wi-Fi. Then, tap the information icon (i) next to the network you’re connected to.
Here, you can see your local IP address.
From Windows:
Find the Network Connection icon (which shows you the network signal bars in the bottom-right section of your screen) and select Open Network and Sharing Center.
Double-click Wireless Network Connection. If you’re on a wired connection, click Local Area Connection. Then select Details.
Next to IPv4 Address, you can find your local IP.
