How to Add custom Unit of Measurement for Products

In this article, you can now learn to add a custom UOM for your product if the UOM of your product doesn't exist in the list default UOM

Your Business type of UOM doesn't exist in the list of default UOM in the system?

DizLog got you!

DizLog now allows user to add their own type of UOM that is not included in the default option we have on the system.

To add your custom UOM please see below steps :

Choose which App you are using:

  1. Click "Products & Services" dropdown and click Measurement Units.

  2. Click "+Add New Custom Unit".

  3. Add Name of the UOM

  4. Enter Precision : refers to the level of accuracy or granularity in which measurements are made using specific units.

  5. Click Save.

  6. You may now see the custom UOM you added.

    Note : You may disabled a UOM by unticking the box across the UOM 

You may now use your Newly added custom UOM in Item Maintenance.

  1. Click Inventory / Catalog and click Product / Services.

  2. Click + Add Items.

  3. Enter the Required information in setting up your product/item under the General tab.

  4. Click Sales Information and you may now see your newly added custom UOM.

  1. Tap Inventory / Catalog from the homepage.

  2. Go to More

  3. Tap Measurement Unit

  4. Tap + icon from the right top corner of the app.

  5. Add Name of the UOM

  6. Enter Precision : refers to the level of accuracy or granularity in which measurements are made using specific units.

  7. Tap Save

  8. You may now see the custom UOM you added, tap on disk icon to save.

    Note : You may disabled a UOM by unticking the box across the UOM you want to disable.
