How to Create New Cash Registers with Dizlog All-In-One POS

In today's fast-paced business world, it's important to have an efficient and reliable point-of-sale system to keep up with customer demands. That's where Dizlog's, feature, the ability to create new registers, comes in.

But first, what exactly is a register, and why is it important to have one? A register is a device or software that businesses use to process transactions and manage cash flow. Having a register helps businesses keep track of sales, taxes, and inventory, which is crucial for making informed business decisions.


Creating a new register in the Dizlog system is easy and straightforward. Here are the steps to follow:

💻 DizLog Web App:

  1. Go to the "Settings" tab in the Dizlog system, and select "POS Settings."

  2. You'll notice a new tab labeled "Register Settings." Click on this tab.

  3. To create a new register, click on the "New Register" button, which will open up a new window.

  4. In the new window, fill in the required fields, including the Register Name, License Key, and Control # token.

  5. Once you've filled in all the necessary information, click "Save" to create your new register.

    How to change the cash register from active to inactive status :

  6. Toggle off the Active status and it will automatically put the register to inactive status.

  7. The Inactive register will not show from POS Cash Register list.


📱DizLog Mobile App

  1. Open the DizLog app and log in to your account.

  2. Tap "Point of Sale" on the home screen and select the register you want to use. Enter the PIN to access the POS. If you're not sure how to retrieve your PIN, refer to this article: https://helpcenter.dizlog.com/en/articles/7018149-how-to-retrieve-pin-to-log-into-pos

  3. Tap the "More" icon on the POS screen and select "POS Settings."

  4. In the POS Settings, tap "Register Settings" and then tap "New Register" to create a new register.

  5. Indicate the register name, license key, and control # token. Select the location where the cash register is located.

  6. Once you've entered all the required information, click on "Save" to save the new register.

  7. Your new register should now be visible in the POS screen for you to use.

That's it!

You've successfully created a new register in the Dizlog system, which can now be used to process transactions, manage inventory, and more.

With this new feature, businesses can easily add new registers to their existing point-of-sale system, enabling them to handle more transactions and manage their business operations more efficiently.
