Simplifying Inventory Count: A Step-by-Step Guide

DizLog Inventory counting is a fundamental task for businesses of all sizes, whether you operate a small retail store or manage a large warehouse. Keeping an accurate track of your inventory is crucial for optimizing operations and ensuring customer satisfaction. In this article, we'll break down the process of inventory count into simple steps to help you get started.

Choose which feature you are using:

Preparation - Adding New Inventory Count

  1. Click Inventory Management dropdown list and click Inventory Count

  2. Click + New Inventory Count at the top part of the page

  3. Select Location ( Applies to Account that has multi stores ) where products are coming from creating an Inventory Count

  4. Enter customized Notes

  5. Select Type if Partial or Full

    a. If Partial that means you have to select products from your Inventory

    b. If Full that means all products from your Inventory will be added to the Inventory Count you creating

  6. Let's do Partial, select products by clicking on Select Item or Service

  7. Click Search to display all products, then select products you want to include in Inventory Count

  8. You may also create new product to include on your Inventory Count by clicking + Add Product

  9. If want to select all products to include in the Inventory Count select Full as Type

  10. Click Save

    You have created your first Inventory Count!

Let's start Counting your Inventory

  1. Select by clicking the Inventory created

  2. Click Count to start counting each of the products in Inventory Count

  3. Start Counting - Enter the number of counted Products in Counted Field

  4. Click Save and the Status will be pending/draft

  5. If Done counting click on Complete

  6. The Timestamp of when the Inventory Count has been created will be recorded and reviewed from this section
