How to Link Customers to Receipts with Barcode Scanning?

An option to give a unique code for customer to easily track and identify returning customers

DizLog Customer Membership Code can be use when adding customers, When the codes are in the customers’ profiles, you can search for registered customers by their customer code during the sale. You can use the search field or scan the barcode with a scanner or a built-in camera.


Before we proceed on how to Scan Customer for Receipt with Barcode Scanning, let's create new customer using "Customer Membership Code".

Add Customer Membership Code

  1. Click "Customer" dropdown icon then Click "Customer List"

  2. Click "+Add Customer"

  3. Now Enter the Customer Code in "Code" Field

  4. Then "Save"

  5. You may "Print" the customer code by clicking "Barcode" beside the Customer Code

Scanning Customer Code for Checkout

  1. From POS Catalog search by entering Customer Code in the Search Field during the sale.

  2. Or you can also use a barcode with a scanner or a built-in camera by clicking on "Scanner" icon

  3. Click Select once the customer details showed up

That's it! You are now able to Add New Customer with Customer Code this can be useful if you are operating a loyalty program for your Customers

Add Customer Membership Code

  1. Tap "POS" from app homepage

  2. Tap "More"

  3. Then tap "Customers"

  4. Tap on "+Add Customer" then may tap "New Customer" or even tapping existing customer to add customer code

  5. Enter customer unique code

  6. Then tap "Save"

Scanning Customer Code for Checkout

  1. From POS Catalog search by entering Customer Code in the Search Field during the sale.

  2. Or you can also use a barcode with a scanner or a built-in camera by clicking on "Scanner" icon

  3. Tap Select once the customer details show up
