Service inventory type are for businesses that offers consultancy, professional or service businesses such as dental and physician clinic services, salons, laundromats and other shop repair services. We recommend to know the right type of inventory for your business. You may find more details about other inventory type here.
Before you add an item to your inventory, ensure that you have set up your inventory category. This can hep you further manage your items in the future.

To add a single item:
Choose the "📦 Item List" option from the left pane under "Products & Services"
Click "+Add Items" to start creating your first service product
You will be directed to the Stock/Catalog Page:
General
Inventory Type: Select Service
Category: Assign a category to the service.
Service Name (Required): Provide a name for the service, it is a required field.
Service Description (Optional): Add a description of the service, it is an optional field.
SKU (Manual / Barcode / QR Code): Choose how the SKU will be generated, either manually, by barcode or QR code.
Toggle Auto Generate SKU to automatically generate a SKU for the service.
Sales Information
Unit of Measurement: Select the unit of measurement used to define the service offered. Options include item, daily, hourly, and one time.
Service Duration: Enter the length of time the service is offered. It is entered in minutes.
Service Operational Hours: Choose the days of the week and the hours of operation for the service.
Block Times: Input the specific time periods when customers are not able to book the service.
Max Customers Per Slot: Indicates the maximum number of customers that can be accommodated within a given service duration.
Gap between Appointments: Enter the time between appointments in minutes.
Reminder Time in Minutes: Enter the time in minutes before the appointment at which the customer will receive a reminder email.
Available on POS: Toggle the switch to allow you to make the product available for sale on your POS system.
Available on the online store: Toggle the switch to allow you to make the product available for sale on your online store.
Variants Tab:
Click "Add Variant"
Variant Name: Enter he name of the variant option, such as "Small."
Remove Variant: If you choose to remove a variant option from the list.
Option 1: Enter an option for the product variants.
Add Option: A button to add a new option to the list of variant options.
Add Variant: A button to add a new variant to the list.
Variants by Location: Choose a location for the product variants.
SKU: Enter a unique identifier for the product.
Price: Enter the price of the product.
Once all fields are filed with details, tap "Save" button

To add a single item:
Tap Inventory/Catalog in the home page
Choose "+Add New Item/Service", and select "Add Item/ Service"
Fill in the details needed.
General
Product Type: Choose the type of Inventory to categorize it.
Category: Choose the category to further categorize the product.
Add Product Image: Upload an image of the product.
Service Name: Enter the name of the service.
Service Description: Enter a description of the service.
Auto Generate SKU: Toggle to automatically generate a SKU for the product, or add it manually/via barcode/QR code.
Supplier: Choose the supplier of the product.
Location: Choose the location where the product is stored.
Pricing
Location: Choose the location where the service is being done.
Service Selling Price: Enter the price of the service.
Service Type: Hourly
Duration in Minutes: Enter the length of time the service is offered. It is entered in minutes.
Service Operational Hours: Specifies the days of the week and the hours of operation for the service.

Enable: Toggle Enable button to display Operational Hours

Once all fields are filed with details, tap "Save Item" button
How do I generate a QR code for each service item?
⚠️ Generating QR code for items are only available in DizLog Mobile App.
You may generate QR code for each of the services that you have added in your inventory.
To generate QR code:
Tap the ✏️ pencil icon next to the service item name.
From the Update Service screen, tap the QR Code icon at the upper right part of the page.
You may save or print the unique QR code for usage with mPOS or an online store.
