The POS is a versatile tool for merchants to accept payments, monitor order status, and access order history and reports.
With a range of features, the POS helps streamline payment processing and sales management workflows, allowing merchants to focus on running their businesses effectively.
To use the Point of Sale (POS) feature in the DizLog app, follow these steps:
Log in to the Dizlog app using your username and password.
Tap "POS"
Tap register to open POS Catalog
Search for items using the search box.
Add items to the cart by tapping them. The cart icon displays the selected items for check out.
View notifications by tapping the bell icon.
Select the location of your store (if you have multiple locations) by tapping the location icon.
View the cash register you are currently using in the "Cash Register" tab.
Sort items by name, price, or date listed in the "Categories" section.
To add an item to the cart, simply select the item the customer wants to purchase by tapping it.
If applicable, add a customer to the transaction.
Adjust the quantity of the item by selecting "+" or "-".
Apply any discounts as necessary.
Select the payment type (cash, digital, or pay later).
The order summary will display the total amount due.
If the customer has chosen to pay later, you can enter a partial amount they've paid in the "Partial Amount" section.
Enter the cash amount received from the customer in the "Cash Received" section.
The "Cash Change" section will automatically calculate the change to be given to the customer.
Finally, the merchant has the option to either save the order to an open tab or check out.
Aside from the basic POS functions, DizLog also provides additional features that can help you manage your business better. Here are some of the things you can do using the POS:
My Orders - Check the status of your pending orders and approve or void them as needed.
Order History - Review your past orders and get insights into your top-selling items, sales by location, category, or sales channel, and filter by date range.
Dashboard - Get an overview of your sales performance over time, with options to view sales by day, week, month, quarter, or year.
More - Customize your settings and preferences, including your tax settings, receipt format, and more.
